THE SERIES OF ILLUSTRATION HAS BEEN SHORTLISTED IN V&A ILLUSTRATION AWARD 2019.

Inspired by the experience working in Domaine de Boisbuchet in France. I was aware and curious about the relation between food and human in the city. In the project, I interviewed people and joined projects related to food issue in London. They are Refettorio Felix at St. Cuthberts, Hackney City Farm, Stepney City Farm- Furry Tale, Foodcycle Peckham, Glengall wharf community garden, Toast Ale, Rubies in the Rubbles, Oddbox, Organiclea. From the origin to the waste, I started the journey to seek for various kind of relationship between human and food, and rethink the value of food.

作品記錄倫敦境內的永續飲食，研究議題包含剩食廚房，剩食產品以及都市農場與菜園。我訪問十餘處關注剩食議題的不同組織，並參與廚房志工。將田野結果繪製成一 系列報導插畫。希望能提供一個溫暖與趣味的方式，瞭解食物浪費議題。

London is a multicultural city, traveling on the bus moving from one place to another is like traveling in different world. Empty fried chicken box on the top of bus stand in south east London, chestnut vendors along the river Thames, Indian dessert selling in the park near Whitechapel, Kosher food and jewish culture in North London... Food from different area represents different cultural. For me, buses play the role of connecting all the bit and pieces in the city together.

過去倫敦的生活經驗，讓我覺得城市最可貴是對多元種族文化的包容。在公車上，乘客都說著不同語言; 乘著公車穿越非裔區到猶太區、印度區、金融區，每換一區彷彿抵達不同國家。創作以飲食作為文化的線索，記錄城市裡多元文化共融的景象。

Undiscovered Taipei - Taipei Ecomuseum map project includes 8 different areas in Taipei City.
The project is commissioned by Taipei City Government. The cover and the shape of the map are Inspired by each area’s unique landmark and history, for example, DADAOCHENG area was famous for its ancient merchant port. Tourists can find these brochure at visitor center in Taipei City.

This series of illustrations are the collaboration with Chinese poet Mr. Chiang. The book has 12 pages, and all the illustrations were completed with digital collage technique. I created total number of 14 owls with different movements, which you can browse below.

"Nowadays in UK no one cares about seasonal food anymore. Fruit and vegetables are importing from European countries, there's no obvious seasonal difference anymore."
A friend told me this while I was mentioning seasonal production in the U.K.. In Taiwan, I can easily tell the season change by noticing the different fruits and vegetables in the market, whereas in the U.K. I can barely notice the difference.I started to do this series of collage with the hope that people would be aware of them again.

農業種植技術與保存技術進步，漸漸感受到人類與自然的連結漸漸疏離，從順應自然到操控自然。希望藉由製作這系列的年曆，時常提醒自己與年曆使用者當季正盛產的蔬果，上市場時能更有意識地購買。

The picture book Hey! What is It?, based on the puppet play “Story of Solar Terms Fruits Projects: Summer” by Yinalang. Group in 2021, focuses on Taiwanese fruits in season, depicting the seasonal imagery from various perspectives such as fruits, land, and memories.
Invited by the troupe — Yinalang to join their field research, we walked into the farmland observing the growth and ripeness of watermelon, and joined the harvest work in the summer of 2021. The experience leads us to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature. The book aims to inspire children to be more conscious of a sustainable food system.

2023年國藝會海外藝遊計畫，從紀實插畫的創作思考出發，走訪荷蘭實施友善農法的兩座農場與葡萄牙永續產業創業者，思索土地孕育芽苗的創造力與畫筆勾勒痕跡的創作之間的關係。

《落下的果子》繪本故事原型為囝仔人2022年開發的偶戲作品《節氣果物語-冬之章》，關注於果物與人的關係，透過果物所召喚的情感、動作、節日的連結，以果樹與離枝的果實為喻，小小的種子藏在結實的樹幹裡沒有發芽，小小的心藏在成熟的軀體裡沒有長大。 我既是樹也是籽，被守護，也展開枝葉守護著。
